- Follow the trail – In teams of 2–6, crack clues hidden in historic streets, decode symbols and piece together the mystery as the light starts to fade.
- Dress for the occasion – Costumes optional. Commitment encouraged. Cloaks, capes and questionable wigs all welcome.
- Play your way – Take it slow or race to the finish. The city is your game board.
- Celebrate together – Win or lose, the night doesn’t end at the final clue. Head to a secret stop for something to steady the nerves. We can help you book the spot and organise prizes for the winning team and the best-dressed.

Your team has one job – decode a series of cryptic puzzles left behind by a mysterious benefactor. The faster you solve them, the closer you get to claiming the inheritance that’s rightfully yours.

Is the Halloween treasure hunt scary? No. It’s a mystery game, not a horror experience – there are no actors jumping out at you. You get the atmosphere of old streets and hidden clues, without the screaming.
Do we have to dress up? Not at all, but plenty of groups do. If you book a hosted hunt, we can arrange a prize for the best-dressed team.
Can we play on Halloween itself? Yes. Halloween falls on Saturday 31 October 2026, and you can also play any day in the run-up. Email us your date and group size and we’ll confirm availability.
How many people can take part? Groups of 2 to 100+. Larger groups split into teams of 2–6 players, and we’ll help you set them up.
How much does it cost? From £16.50 per person for our standard package up to £22 per person for our group package. A dedicated host is an optional extra at £250. Food and drink at our secret stop is paid at the venue.
Where can we play? London (Blackfriars and Holborn), Manchester and York.
How long does it take? Between 60 and 120 minutes, depending on the game you choose and your pace. Breaks don’t count – stop for a drink whenever you like.
Is it a good Halloween team building activity? Yes. It’s inclusive, outdoors and works for mixed teams – no one needs to be sporty or a horror fan. Teams have to think, move and work together to solve the case.
What happens if it rains? It’s an outdoor game, so it goes ahead in most weather. Bring a brolly – a bit of drizzle only adds to the atmosphere.
