Valentine’s Day 2023 – Valentine’s Day Ideas

Valentines Day 2023 - wat are you planning?

With not long to go until Valentine’s Day 2023 or Galentine’s Day, we’ve made it our mission to find some unique recommendations to do on the day or over the weekend.  Whilst we love a more traditional approach like a bouquet of red roses and an amazing candlelit meal, we also love thinking outside of the (chocolate) box by finding an experience that’s a bit different and one to remember.

Here are our favourite unique Valentine’s Day 2023 ideas.

Cocktails for Valentine's Day 2023

1. Cocktail making classes | Valentine’s Day 2023

There’s something lovely and indulgent about making your own cocktail. Most of us muddle through (pardon the pun), but why not become a pro at a cocktail masterclass with your loved one? One of our favourite places is Mixology Events where you have two hours of expert teaching on how to prepare four perfect cocktails – and that’s after having a complimentary welcome one to get you in the mood!

Price: £150 for two

Location: Multiple locations across London

Website: www.mixologyevents.co.uk

Top Tip: Celebrate on the day itself with a Valentine’s Public Mixology Masterclass from 7pm in Shoreditch

2. Dance Lesson | Valentine’s Day 2023

The popularity of dance classes has shot up with the success of Strictly Come Dancing. If you and your partner are ready to learn a new dance move together, Salsa Soho are offering a great Valentine’s Day 2023 activity.

There’s a set menu with a welcome drink followed by live shows and performances alongside your dance class.

Price: From £27.50 per person

Location: Charing Cross Road

3. StreetHunt Games | Valentine’s Day 2023

Escape rooms are also popular for a date night but StreetHunt Games have taken it to a new level. Played outdoors, you and your date will embrace your inner detective and work together to find clues across historic streets around Fleet Street.

It’s a great way to spend time together, discover London’s best kept secrets, including new drinking haunts, whilst cracking the case.

Price: From £15 per person

Location: Near Blackfriars

Top Tip: Ask StreetHunt Games for recommendations of nearby places to grab a post-Hunt bite to eat or refreshment

4. Couples Spa Treatment | Valentine’s Day 2023

There are many places across London that offer spa treatments, but we love The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane. It is luxury at its best in their spa rooftop sanctuary. We’d choose the Exclusive Couples Sky Suite Experience, where you can relax and unwind with your own private double steam shower and relaxation area, including a two-hour spa treatment.

The Greatest Love of All – say no more! A perfect gift for Valentine’s Day 2023, to enjoy as a treat later in the year. The Greatest Love of All is a critically acclaimed live concert which is touring in the UK later this year.

Featuring the breathtaking vocals of Belinda Davids with the accompaniment of the UK’s National Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, backing vocalists and choreographed dancers, plus state-of-the-art sound, lighting, vision and theatrical effects, this is a definite on our list.
